Nature Walk: Winter Birds of Lake Solano Park   Sunday,  JAN  21, 2018
10:00 AM

PUTAH CREEK COUNCIL & SOLANO COUNTY PARKS —  Lake Solano County Park
California enjoys mild winters, and that makes it an ideal spot for many migratory birds to spend the cooler months. At Lake Solano, a wide array of habitats means that visitors can observe a diverse assortment of birds and other wildlife. On this tour, we'll observe year-round residents and migratory visitors while taking in the natural beauty of Lake Solano Park. Loaner binoculars will be available. These activities are appropriate for all ages, and families and groups are welcome. Please prepare for the weather and variable conditions by bringing water, wearing sturdy shoes, and dressing in layers. The tour will be rescheduled in the event of heavy rain. Advance registration is recommended but not required. The day's activities are free, and parking is $6 per vehicle payable at the east entrance to the Park. For more information, check online or call Karin Young at Putah Creek Council, 530-795-3006.
