9:30 AM

PUTAH CREEK COUNCIL —  Lake Solano County Park
Join Putah Creek Council and our partners at Lake Solano Park to help plant an interpretive garden of native chaparral. Chaparral is a drought-tolerant, fire-adapted vegetation that forms part of the mosaic of foothill plant communities between elevations of 300 and 3000 feet. It supports a variety of native pollinators, birds, mammals, and other wildlife. We'll be meeting at the Lake Solano Park Nature Center at 9:30 am and working until noon. Please dress appropriately for the weather in clothes that can get dirty and wear closed-toe shoes. Bring a hat and water bottle. We will provide all the tools and supplies, including gloves. If you are under 18, you MUST bring this completed liability form with a parent's signature. This event will happen rain or shine. PCC will bring ponchos and mud boots if necessary. You can register for this event online. We look forward to working with you!
