10:00 AM SOLANO LAND TRUST & SOLANO COUNTY PARKS — Lynch Canyon Open Space Park Solano Land Trust and Solano County Parks invite the public to celebrate St. Patricks Day by taking their kids outside to enjoy the beautiful nature of Lynch Canyon. There is a lot to love about this park…rolling hills, fresh air, a variety of trees and many different birds and other wildlife. Families will likely discover a new or renewed love of nature and being outdoors. The recent rain will make this park even more beautiful, but also means it can be muddy so rain boots are recommended. Bring plenty of water and snacks. (There is no water at Lynch Canyon), good hiking shoes/boots, layered clothing, and sun protection. Heavy rain cancels this hike. Meet in the parking lot at 9:45. Hike starts at 10:00. No registration required. Parking is $6. Parking Fee: $6 Location: 3100 Lynch Road Vallejo DIRECTIONS: From I-80 East, take the Hiddenbrooke Parkway exit and follow the Lynch Canyon signs. From I-80 West, take the Red Top Road exit and follow the Lynch Canyon signs. |
