CALIFORNIA WATERFOWL ASSOCIATION — Denverton This is a two-day event! located in the famed Susiun Marsh. The property is 762 acres located off Highway 12 and managed by CWA biologists. The blinds consist of three floating blinds and one stand-up blind. Decoys and stools are provided. Hunters walk to the blinds from designated parking areas. Hunts are filled on a first come-first serve basis! This hunt is open to all females 18 and older. Hunters are limited to register for only one date during the 17-18 waterfowl season. The $150 per hunter registration fee includes a CWA membership, overnight accommodations, dinner, breakfast, and lunch, plus decoys, blinds, boats, and game cleaning facility. Guides are provided at each blind. The volunteer/mentor guide will help with blind safety, waterfowl identification, decoy placement, bird retrieval, calling, etc. Hunting dogs are allowed but must be kept in a dog crate or vehicle when you are not hunting. You will be responsible for the behavior and actions of your dog, as well providing adequate food and water. For more information and to register, click here.
