BACKROAD VINES BackRoad Vines One of the unique aspects of Suisun Valley’s BackRoad Vines is their BOCCE COURTS! The Bocce Ball courts are open to the public during regular tasting hours. The winery also hosts a bocce league! Are you interested in joining the Bocce Ball League? All levels of experience are welcome and new leagues start every quarter. Each team consists of 4 players. CALIFORNIA WATERFOWL ASSOCIATION Grizzly Ranch Duck Camp is a two-and-a-half day introduction to the art of waterfowling. The camp is designed to help new and beginner waterfowl hunters in the following areas: calling, decoy spreads, shooting, shot selection, distance judging, concealment, waterfowl identification, game laws, ethics, wild game preparation and hunting opportunities. After 5.4 miles, you will fork right and cross Montezuma Slough Rd. After 3.3 miles turn right onto Van Sickle Rd. (Note: you should see a white fence) After 0.4 miles turn right into Grizzly Ranch. In 0.7 miles, you will arrive at the Ranch. |

6:00 PM PUTAH CREEK COUNCIL Lake Solano County Park Join Lake Solano Docents for a free, guided nature walk appreciating the New Moon at Lake Solano Park on Friday, October 25, 6:15 PM to 8:30 PM. Meet at the Lake Solano Nature Center to begin your stroll along the trails of Lake Solano Park. Carla Murphy will be your guide for this evening event exploring the night skies. This is a good opportunity to learn some constellations and appreciate the quiet of the park at night! This tour is appropriate for any ages that are happy being out at that hour, and families and groups are welcome. Please prepare for the weather and variable conditions by bringing water, wearing sturdy shoes for rough terrain, and dressing in layers to protect from mosquitoes. The tour will be rescheduled in the event of poor weather. A blanket or camp chair is recommended. Continue to enjoy the park by renting a campsite for the weekend on a first-come, first-served basis. The evening's activities are free, and parking is $6 per vehicle payable at the east entrance to the Park, on the day use side (cash or check, exact change only).
