CALIFORNIA WATERFOWL ASSOCIATION Grizzly Ranch
This is a two-day event! Grizzly Ranch is located in the famed Suisun Marsh, bordering Grizzly Island State Wildlife Area. The ranch is over 900 acres and the wetlands are managed by CWA biologists. The blinds consist of two and three man tanks and stand-up blinds. Decoys, stools and boat transportation to and from the blind are provided. Hunts are filled on a first come-first serve basis! This hunt is open to all females 18 and older. Hunters are limited to register for only one date during the 17-18 waterfowl season. The $150 per hunter registration fee includes a CWA membership, overnight accommodations, dinner, breakfast, and lunch, plus decoys, blinds, boats, and game cleaning facility. Guides are provided at each blind. The volunteer/mentor guide will help with blind safety, waterfowl identification, decoy placement, bird retrieval, calling, etc. Hunting dogs are allowed but must be kept in a dog crate or vehicle when you are not hunting.
