9:00 AM SOLANO LAND TRUST & SOLANO COUNTY PARKS Lynch Canyon Open Space Park Solano Land Trust and Solano County Parks welcome the public to join docents Steven and Linda for a weekend hike at Lynch Canyon. You will explore and learn about the human history and phenomenal plant and wildlife diversity of Lynch Canyon. Come enjoy Lynch Canyon’s 1,039 acres of rolling grasslands, pond and oak woodlands with your family and friends. The hike can range from 4-7 miles. Pre-registration recommended. 9:30 AM BENICIA STATE PARKS ASSOCIATION Forrest Deaner Native Plant Botanic Garden We meet every Saturday from 9:30-11:30am in the Forrest Deaner Native Plant Botanic Garden located at the Benicia State Park Recreation Area for planting, weeding, and tending. Parking is free on Saturday Volunteer Days. Tell the Gate Attendant that you are going into the Park to work at the Garden.
