9:00 AM SOLANO LAND TRUST — Rockville Trails Preserve Enjoy your Monday off outdoors. Guests will explore the hills between Suisun Valley and Green Valley, and see sweeping views of Solano County and beyond. The community is encouraged to take advantage of this special opportunity for a docent-led hike because Rockville Trails Preserve is otherwise closed. Moderate to strenuous, 4-6 miles. Free. Space is limited. Preregistration is recommended online. Parking Fee: $6 Location: Fairfield DIRECTIONS: Meet promptly at the big red "Ice House" building on Suisun Valley Ct, near the intersection of Rockville Rd and Suisun Valley Rd, Fairfield, CA. Be ready to immediately carpool or caravan from there to the trailhead. |

Kids’ Hike - I Love Birds!

10:00 AM SOLANO LAND TRUST & SOLANO COUNTY PARKS — Lynch Canyon Open Space Park Spend the day off with the kids and join Solano Land Trust and the amazing kid’s hike docents. This month's theme is, "I Love Birds!" Meeting location: Lynch Canyon Parking lot at 9:45. Wear good walking shoes and bring water and snacks. If it is raining, mud boots are advised. Rain may cancel hike. Pre-registration recommended online. NOTE: There is a parking fee of $6 at Lynch Canyon, cash or check, payable to Solano County Parks. Parking Fee: $6 Location: 3100 Lynch Road Vallejo DIRECTIONS: From I-80 East, take the Hiddenbrooke Parkway exit and follow the Lynch Canyon signs. From I-80 West, take the Red Top Road exit and follow the Lynch Canyon signs. |
