MARE ISLAND HERITAGE TRUST — Mare Island Shoreline Heritage Preserve It's our 6th Annual SF Bay Osprey Days! Osprey begin to arrive and begin nest building around mid-February, and by late July the Osprey young begin fledging - so this is a great time to come to Mare Island and experience the Osprey Phenomenon! Come join us for Audubon Society and local field guide led outings to view Osprey on Mare Island, presentations about Osprey, challenges to their nesting sites, workshops on webcams and banding, drawing and more! We are of course open all day as usual (10am - til 1 hour past sunset) for you to walk or hike at your own pace for your enjoyment! For more information, please visit our website. One of the unique aspects of Suisun Valley’s BackRoad Vines is their BOCCE COURTS! The Bocce Ball courts are open to the public during regular tasting hours. The winery also hosts a bocce league! Are you interested in joining the Bocce Ball League? All levels of experience are welcome and new leagues start every quarter. Each team consists of 4 players.
