Mad Hatter July 4th Waterfront Festival   Monday,  JUL  4, 2016
MAD HATTER HOLIDAY FESTIVAL —  Vallejo Waterfront
The Mad Hatter July 4th Waterfront Festival will follow the Vallejo Independence Day Parade. The fun and excitement will include a Bathtub Regatta and Zombie Kayakers, the Maritime Dog Parade, an Artisan Beer Garden, two food courts, a Boxing Demo, Native American Drummers, Mexican Folk Dancers, Marching Bands, two stages of music, a DJ Booth, Classic Cars, carnival children rides, and teen sporting activities.

163rd Vallejo 4th of July Parade   Monday,  JUL  4, 2016

VALLEJO PARADE ASSOCIATION —  Downtown Vallejo
The Vallejo Parade Association, a local non-profit organization, presents the 163rd Vallejo Fourth of July Parade beginning at 10:00am. The parade starts at Tennessee St. and Broadway and takes the traditional route west to Sonoma Blvd. and then south on Sonoma and west again to end on Georgia and Santa Clara Streets. This year’s Parade features the usual array of entries included the giant puppets, horses, cars, costume characters, musical performers, City Officials and much more. The Grand Marshalls for 2016 are the Boy Scouts of America.

4th of July Jepson Plant Nursery Work Day   Monday,  JUL  4, 2016

CNPS - WILLIS LINN JEPSON CHAPTER —  Vallejo Sanitation and Flood Control District Corporation Yard
A member donated a portable carport that will be reassembled at the nursery to provide more shade for the increased number of seedlings and saplings we are growing. It may take longer than two hours. Please meet at the Vallejo Sanitation and Flood Control District gate. We will need an RSVP by email ahead of time since we will be working in a secured area.
Registration is required.

Celebrate our great country on July 4th with a grand tradition! This year's parade theme is "Proud to be an American."

Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social & Picnic in the Park   Monday,  JUL  4, 2016

BAY AREA ELECTRIC RAILROAD ASSOCIATION —  Western Railway Museum
Please join us as we celebrate the 4th of July! Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy our beautiful Laflin Park. Ice cream will be available for purchase and music from the 1920s and 1930s will be provided by the Fog City Stompers. And of course, our historic electric train cars will be running all day. Festivities will conclude at 4:00pm so visitors can attend their local fireworks display.

This event is a wonderful way to spend the 4th! Benicia’s City Park is filled with arts and crafts, delicious hot food, live entertainment and children’s activities. Fireworks start about 9 p.m. at the foot of First Street making this a great event for the whole family.

CITY OF VACAVILLE —  Andrews Park
Experience the hometown feel of an old fashioned 4th of July in Historic Downtown Vacaville. Bring the family for a fun filled evening of music and fireworks under the stars. Park gates open at 5:00pm; music starts at 6:30pm. Lots of food & craft vendors on site. PARKING NOTE: Due to the Fireworks and related safety, parking will be limited near Andrews Park/Creekwalk. Expect street closures surrounding the park.

DIXON ROTARY CLUB —  Hall Park
A community-oriented Fourth of July celebration, complete with fireworks will take place at Hall Park in Dixon. Bring a picnic lunch and spend the afternoon and evening visiting with friends and neighbors. Fireworks begin at 9:30pm.
