MONTICELLO CYCLING CLUB — Rockville Hills Regional Park The Monticello Cycling Club is proud to announce a 2 day Mountain Bike Event at one of the best parks in the Bay Area, Rockville Park in Fairfield. In addition to being a great ride, this event will raise money for the Vacaville composite High School MTB team. Day 1, Saturday, Sep 23: the Rockhopper Classic Cross Country Race. The race will be held on a 5.3 mile course which showcases some of the best trails that Rockville Hills Regional Park has to offer. Riders will race 2, 3 or 4 laps of the course depending on class. Day 2, Sunday, Sep 24: the Rockhopper Enduro, now in its 3rd year, this event is the classic Enduro Race. Four stages of some of Rockville’s gnarliest trails, a perfect test of rider and machine. New for this year will be an overall award for each class for the rider with the best overall finish in both days events. Each race will take place at Rockville Hills Regional Park in Fairfield, located at 2140 Rockville Road. Race parking and registration will be at the Solano College parking lot #2, located at 4000 Suisun Valley Road, and riders will ride their bikes over to the park each day for the race. Parking at Rockville Park will be limited to race volunteers. The Saturday post-race events will happen at the park, the Sunday events will be at the Solano College location. 8:00 AM KAISER PERMANENTE — Solano Community The SOFITCITY Challenge is the day ordinary heroes of all speeds, creeds, and sizes run this town for a healthier city, fitter families and fitter kids. Take the challenge and make a change for yourself or as an example for those you love. Grab your capes, cloaks and masks. Its time to save the city! Enjoy a fast course with music, fun and a costume dance party like no other! The raucous event begins at the Solano Community College our new location with a new scenic route. Pets and strollers welcome. Raise funds for your cause or ours. Health & Fitness Expo from 8:00am-12:00pm. Runs/Walks starting from 9A.
