7:00 AM NAPA - SOLANO AUDUBON SOCIETY — Il Fiorello Olive Oil Company Join us for a sunrise bird walk with light refreshments at Il Fiorello Olive Oil Company’s olive grove. Il Fiorello is located in Suisun Valley west of Fairfield. There is a $7 charge for the walk which includes Il Fiorello’s famous Cinderella Pumpkin Citrus Muffins, coffee service, and infused water served in the shady portico after the walk. We will walk the perimeter of the property, through the groves, and along the irrigation canal for approximately two hours. Over fifty species of birds have been seen on the property, including golden eagles and many other species of raptors, water birds, passerines, and owls. Bring: Sturdy walking shoes, sun protection, water, binoculars, fee for the event. Please note: This is a working farm and commercial food facility. The terrain is uneven and may have animal holes. 10th Annual Mare Island 5k Zombie Run/Walk

7:30 AM TOURO UNIVERSITY — Touro University The Touro University Student Chapter of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine is pleased to announce the 10th Annual Mare Island ZOMBIE Run/Walk. Registration/Check-ins open at 7:30 am. All participants will receive a free event shirt and have the option to get their face painted to coordinate with our race theme, Zombies. Race begins at 9:00 am and will cease close to 10:00 am. Afterwards, we will have snacks and drinks, as well as some health fair booths before announcing the race results. The event is set to conclude at noon. It should be a great adventure. This year, we have chosen to support Greater Vallejo Recreation District due to their continued work in youth health and fitness. Over the past five races, we’ve had close to 500 total event participants and donated over $1000 to our charities. Our goal is to continue to grow so that we can provide more funding to help fight childhood obesity and the later complications that can arise from it. We have a run participation goal of at least 400 runners/walkers. In addition to raising funds, our other main objective is to promote health and fitness in the Vallejo community. After the race, join us in the Lander Hall Gym for an awesome health festival with an award ceremony!
