SOLANO LAND TRUST —  Solano Land Trust Properties
Get involved in science on our lands! Solano Land Trust staff scientist Sue Wickham will teach you all you need to know. BRING: Water, snacks, sturdy gloves, pants, sturdy closed-toe shoes. Come prepared for variable weather (bring layered clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and protection from sun, wind, and fog). Optional: bug repellent, your favorite gardening tools, and binoculars to enjoy the birds! ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED two or more days in advance: Sue at 707-590-0307 or by email.

VISIONS OF THE WILD — 
The annual Visions of the Wild festival connects nature, culture and community. The festival brings together all segments of the region, and in particular, the spheres of conservation and art. The 2017 festival will run Sep 6-10 at locations in and around Vallejo. All events--with the exception of the river cruises--are free to the public. This is a fun and interactive weekend with activities for all ages. Enjoy learning about the creatures of the bay, taking an interactive walk along the waterfront, or a cruise to find out more about the local hydrologic cycle and the health of the San Francisco Estuary ecosystem.
