Peytonia Slough Ecological Reserve


Suisun Slough runs along the eastern edge of the Peytonia Slough Ecological Reserve. You can follow a trail along the Suisun Slough to its confluence with Peytonia Slough.

Pickleweed is a favored habitat for the salt marsh harvest mouse.

Tules are the predominant plant in the reserve.


A close up makes the annual bur-sage look like little bells on a stalk.
