8:00 AM NAPA - SOLANO AUDUBON SOCIETY — Napa and Solano Counties The Trumpeter Swans may still be at Lagoon Valley near Vacaville. We will go there to see. Expect large flocks of many kinds of ducks (500-1000 Ring-necked), hawks, sparrows, shorebirds and woodpeckers. With patience and stealth, a Swamp sparrow is a regular sighting. We'll walk completely around the lake - 2 miles. Leader: Murray Berner DIRECTIONS: Meet at Sweeney's Sport Store, 1537 Imola Ave West, Napa, at 7:45 to carpool, or 8:00 at Lagoon Valley. Car-poolers will share driving expenses (recommended $.30/mi to be split by the number of riders). |
