11:00 AM SUISUN VALLEY — Suisun Valley Come enjoy the fall bounty of Suisun Valley, a family favorite! Visit local farms stands, U-Pick farms, and travel from one winery to the next to taste Suisun Valley. Plan a day or weekend exploring this unique setting with your family. Discover all the wonderful local products, activities and fun on the farms. Free and open to the public, this is a one-of-a-kind slow-food movement event. Children enjoy being able to pick their own fruits, vegetables, and flowers, which are all locally grown. Budding chefs in your household will delight in the fresh varieties of fruits and tomatoes, while parents gather fresh produce to carry on the traditions of canning and making your own jellies and jams. Each day’s activities run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with local restaurants open for breakfast and lunch You can dine at Rockville Grill, Vintage Caffe, and The Valley Café, or you can pick up picnic “to go” items at any of these locations.
