9:00 AM SOLANO LAND TRUST AND BAY AREA RIDGE TRAIL COUNCIL — Vallejo Swett Ranch Join Solano Land Trust and the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council for this community workday along the Ridge Trail. We'll be maintaining Blue Rock Trail within Vallejo Swett Ranch. Help us cleanup and re-contour the trail so that it continues to be stable, safe, and beautiful for all to enjoy! 9:30 AM CNPS - WILLIS LINN JEPSON CHAPTER — Forrest Deaner Native Plant Botanic Garden We meet every Saturday from 9:30-11:30am in the Forrest Deaner Native Plant Botanic Garden located at the Benicia State Park Recreation Area for planting, weeding, and tending. Parking is free on Saturday Volunteer Days. Tell the Gate Attendant that you are going into the Park to work at the Garden. 6:00 PM MARE ISLAND HERITAGE TRUST — Mare Island Shoreline Heritage Preserve Start at 6:15PM at trail entrance where you’ll get spooked on a terrifying self-guided walk along a scary trail to bunkers and the cemetery. Return to the Visitors Center for ghost stories and resuscitating refreshments. Children up to age 5 are free. All youth and children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
