'Citizen Science Friday' Land Stewardship Volunteer Opportunity   Friday,  NOV  18, 2011
8:30 AM

SOLANO LAND TRUST —  TBA
Put your thinking cap on for Citizen Science Friday! Solano Land Trust's staff scientist, Sue Wickham, leads you on this outdoor volunteer opportunity where together you restore, maintain, and monitor the health of Lynch Canyon and the King-Swett Ranches. You learn about the importance of native species, the impact of invasive non-native species, and how soil, plants, animals, light and moisture levels interact in an ecosystem. BRING: Water, snacks, bug repellent, sturdy gloves, pants, sturdy closed-toe shoes. Come prepared for variable weather (bring layered clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and protection from sun, wind, and fog). Optional: your favorite hedge clippers or hand clippers. RSVP: Sue at 707-432-0150 x 207 or sue@SolanoLandTrust.org.
Leader: Sue Wickham
DIRECTIONS: Provided upon RSVP.
