12:00 PM SOLANO LAND TRUST Rockville Trails Preserve Enjoy an autumn afternoon with docents Richard and Cathy Christo on a free guided hike of Solano County’s newest preserve, Rockville Trails. Get a great workout as you trek 4 to 6 miles up and down the hilly, rocky terrain. Feel the sunshine on the grasslands and the shade under majestic oaks. Learn about the area’s natural history and watch for signs of wildlife that depend on this area for food, shelter, and safe passage. Rockville Trails Preserve is brand new and only accessible by docent-led hikes at this time. ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Visit our website, or call Cathy at 707-745-1913. There is no drinking water, and there are no bathrooms or parking lots yet. Be ready to immediately carpool or caravan from there to the trailhead. Rain cancels this event.
