8:30 AM SOLANO LAND TRUST — Patwino Worrtla Kodoi Dihi Open Space Park We need help counting flowers in a beautiful space! Join Jasmine Westbrook-Barsukov, Solano Land Trust’s project manager, in an effort to locate and count the rare Harmonia nutans flower. Also know as Nodding Madia or Nodding Harmonia, this rare dicot gives “Harmonia Hill” and the trail leading to it their names. Participants will sharpen their plant identification skills while taking a guided hike through some of the most scenic reaches of the property. This flower only grows in a tiny part of the North Bay and we need to see how it is faring in the park. You will of course see plenty of other lovely plants (and have an easier time finding them). Bring water, sturdy footwear, and protection from the sun. Registration is required. Ages 12 and up who are comfortable with this kind of physical exertion are welcome—those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and must have a liability waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
