TULEYOME —  Stebbins Cold Canyon
Tuleyome will continue to assist UC Reserve System with their restoration efforts at Stebbins Cold Canyon. This reserve burned during the LNU Lightning Complex and initial remediation efforts need to be done. Long sleeves, pants, and sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended. THIS WORK DAY IS LIMITED TO 10 VOLUNTEERS TO COMPLY WITH CURRENT SAFETY AND HEALTH GUIDELINES. Please bring snacks, lunch, WATER, and work gloves – Tuleyome will provide needed tools. Dress for the weather and getting dirty! A $5 donation to Tuleyome is requested, but is not required to participate in this event. For more information or to RSVP, click here. Enjoy a Nature Hike at Patwino Worrtla Kodoi Dihi (formerly known as Rockville Trails Preserve). We’ll travel about 4-6 miles up and down hills enjoying views of Solano’s valleys, the Delta, and Mt. BENICIA STATE PARKS ASSOCIATION —  Forrest Deaner Native Plant Botanic Garden
We meet every Saturday from 9:30-11:30am in the Forrest Deaner Native Plant Botanic Garden located at the Benicia State Park Recreation Area for planting, weeding, and tending. Parking is free on Saturday Volunteer Days. Tell the Gate Attendant that you are going into the Park to work at the Garden.
