Rush Ranch 'Get the Rush'

9:00 AM SOLANO LAND TRUST — Rush Ranch Get the Rush is a series of fun and free activities designed for families—all ages and mobility levels are welcome! From 9:00am to 10:00am: Tour the scenic tidal marsh and upland grasses of Rush Ranch. 10am to 1pm: Take a trip back in time at the historic Rush Ranch Blacksmith Shop, and Little Bear's display of Native American tools and decorations. 11am to 1pm: Enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides (all are welcome, but the wagons are especially designed for wheelchairs and others with limited mobility). Rush Ranch is owned by Solano Land Trust, and Get the Rush is made possible by the all-volunteer organizations, Rush Ranch Educational Council and Access Adventure. Location: 3521 Grizzly Island Road Suisun City DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 12 in Suisun City, take Grizzly Island Road south approximately 2 miles. Entrance/driveway will be on the right. |

10:00 AM SOLANO LAND TRUST — Bird's Landing Join us for our first annual sporting clays shoot and luncheon. This will be a 50-target sporting clay shoot, eye and ear protection and shooter's gift included, with a catered luncheon after the shoot. 8:00-10:30AM Optional Beginners' clinic; 10:00AM Registration for 11AM-1PM Shoot; 1:00PM Lunch, special drawing, and raffle. 11:00 AM RUSH RANCH EDUCATIONAL COUNCIL — Rush Ranch Access Adventure uses uniquely designed vehicles to offer a safe and comfortable ride to anyone living with a condition that affects their ability to get around. Access Adventures' specially built Thornlea Carriages are designed to accommodate wheelchair users and and others with limited mobility.
