Memorial Walk for Frank Morris   Saturday,  SEP  10, 2011
10:00 AM

THE DOCENTS OF LAKE SOLANO COUNTY PARK —  Lake Solano County Park
The docents of Lake Solano will offer a memorial walk in honor of the late Frank Morris. Frank was a docent at Lake Solano, a life-long learner and a gifted teacher. He is dearly missed. Just a few weeks ago he led a walk focused on Lake Solano's water and the fascinating plants and animals that depend on it. The morning of the tour, Frank collected dozens of plant and animal species and put them on display under magnifying lenses. He was in his element. Frank also loved getting out on the water -- he kayaked at Lake Solano nearly every Friday evening. This walk will be in honor of Frank, at his beloved Lake Solano. Meet in the courtyard beside the Nature Center. The walk is free and parking is only $5.
Parking Fee: $5
Location:
     8685 Pleasants Valley Road

DIRECTIONS: Near Winters, CA, off Highway 128.
