3:00 PM MARE ISLAND HERITAGE TRUST — Mare Island Our Sunday "Sweet Pea" Storytelling Tea, is a cream tea served every Sunday afternoon beginning at 3pm under the tent at our Visitors Center. This past Sunday a new friend Janine came by, helped set the table and visited with us about her multiple ties to Mare Island. The tea party continued for hours. . . What fun! Join us for tea, please. We share stories of Mare Island history served with scones or cookies and a cup of tea. No reservations are required and it's free, although donations are greatly appreciated. Your donations from the Sunday teas will go towards making a tree fort in the Rowser Garden where the tire swing is now, and other kid friendly programs and projects for the Preserve.
