5th Annual Lynch Canyon Trail Run and Community Hike   Saturday,  JUN  4, 2011
8:00 AM

Come out and enjoy fresh air, spectacular views and great times at the 5th Annual Lynch Canyon Trail Run & Community Hike. Every race distance offered is 100% trail. The routes, comprised of about 85% wide track and 15% single track, will take runners along every trail in Lynch Canyon. Runners will experience outstanding views of undulating open space, the Napa Valley, San Francisco Bay, Mt. Tamalpais, and Mt. Diablo. All trail run distances are challenging with a respectable amount of elevation gain. The event also includes a FREE 2.5 mile community hike with about 400 ft of elevation gain. We’ve included this event to encourage everyone to participate and enjoy some great outdoor recreation that Solano County has to offer (on a less challenging route). Event proceeds will be used for the improvement of Lynch Canyon and promoting the use of its open space for healthy living. For details and to register, go to www.lynchcanyontrailrun.com.
